Computer Assisted Learning in LC 105 - Software


No computer experience necessary. No appointment necessary. Just come in during our hours and our staff will load the software and show you how to use it to improve your English skills.

AMERICAN HERITAGE TALKING DICTIONARY & CULTURAL THESAURUS --a dictionary that provides definitions and also pronounces words

COMPTON'S INTERACTIVE ENCYCLOPEDIA -- includes articles, maps, videos

LONGMAN'S INTERACTIVE DICTIONARY -- definitions, grammar explanations & exercises, videos, authentic pronunciations

THE NEWBURY HOUSE DICTIONARY OF AMERICAN ENGLISH - activity guide, simple and relevant sample sentences, business and computer terms, cultural and grammatical information. 40,000 words pronounced. 2000 color photos and drawings

GRAMMAR

AZAR INTERACTIVE --a multimedia grammar experience. Includes three levels + charts
