Due to a recent State budget decision, California Community College enrollment fees have been increased from $20 to $26 per unit effective for the Fall 2009 term. Students who have qualified for and received approval for the Board of Governors fee waiver will have their full enrollment fee waived and no further action is necessary on their part. Students who have already submitted fees at the $20 per unit rate will be required to submit payment for the difference. Payments can continue to be made on WebAdvisor, TREG, and in-person at the college.
Enrollment fees:
California resident enrollment fee is $26.00 per unit.
Non-resident fees:
Non-California resident students are charged $207.00 per unit ($181.00 per unit plus $26.00 per unit enrollment fee) if they are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Non-residents of the United States are charged $214.00 per unit ($188.00 per unit plus $26.00 per unit enrollment fee).
Student Union fee
$1.00 per unit or fraction up to a maximum of $10.00 per academic year is charged to pay for the Student Center. This fee is only charged to courses held on the DVC campus.
Books and supplies:
An estimated cost for books and supplies per semester for a full-time student is approximately $300.00.
Parking
- $35.00 to purchase an automobile parking decal for the entire term, or $20.00 for a summer decal.
- $20.00 to purchase an motorcycle parking decal for the entire term
- $2.00 for a daily parking ticket from one of the dispensing machines on campus. Parking decals are good at CCC, DVC and LMC. Parking at the new San Ramon Campus is free.
- $1.00 for a clear plastic decal display card that can be hung on a car rearview mirror and allows the permit to be switched to a different vehicle.

Refunds
Enrollment fees: It is the student's responsibility to drop courses. Please check with your instructor for the last day to drop with a refund and other deadlines.
To recieve a fee refund, students must withdraw from school or drop class by the deadline. Refund checks for complete or partial withdrawls from school will be processed after the first two weeks of instruction. Refund checks will be mailed to the student address on file in the college Admissions and Records office. If you have a new address, please notify the office as soon as possible. If you paid online by credit card, a refund will be applied to the credit card used for payment.
