Assessment and placement testing
After completing an admissions application, new students should plan to take the English and math assessment tests. Testing takes approximately two hours to complete. After taking these exams, students should sign up for an Orientation to College course (Couns 105). Results from the assessments will be forwarded to the instructor so that appropriate classes can be chosen with the help of the counselor. The Assessment Center also offers exams for ESL students and chemistry students.
